I am getting ready to have a very large yardsale. A VERY baby yard sale. The amount of baby stuff I have collected is obscene. Seriously. Obscene.
I was cleaning, sorting, pricing, and tagging...and I get a tad OCD and obsessive about my work. I was REALLY into it. I was FINALLY purging my house of clutter, and nothing makes my simplistic heart happier than de-cluttering. I noticed that things had become unusually quiet. I glance over into the living room (aka: Baby Play Room) and I see that I have three babies/toddlers (Do I HAVE to call them toddlers? I am NOT ready to be done with the baby stage!!!) out cold on the floor.
I was *not* so into purging my house of clutter that I completely and totally forgot about nap time!!! NOT ME! I was over 30 minutes late on lunch, which means they are also going to be 30 minutes late for a nap.
This may not seem like a long time, but my triplets are used to a STRICT schedule. Not very AP of me, but it's been a necessary part of my life for the last year.
So there I sat. Staring at the sweet babies sleeping on the floor......and I did NOT think twice about leaving them on the floor and finishing my work. GOOD mama won out and I fed them lunch and put them to bed before continuing the purge of babiness from our house.
I am actually very excited about this yard sale. All of the procedes are going back to the kids by remodeling their bedrooms. Some of the sales will be from things that were gifts, so we thought that it would be good if the gifts went right back into the kids...that and the kids rooms are NOT looking like kid rooms yet.
Well, that was FUN! I have missed Not Me'ing with all of my MckMama friends!!! I am so happy that Stellan is home, and doing OK. Our family continues to pray for Stellan's heart.
Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
