My children (the oldest 2) have an obsession with beads. A while back I had bought some beads to make name bracelets for them. I bought too many and I have several left. This morning Roo brought down some beads to "play" with. Later on he came to me and said, "I so SOWWY MOMMY....I SOWWY!" and bursts into tears. This is why:
When asked WHY he put a bead up his nose, he simply stated, "BECAUSE Mommy, it was blue....and it was the letter E!" I guess that makes perfect logic to a 3 year old because he looked at me as if I had lost my marbles....Of COURSE! It must belong in his nose! It's blue and has the letter E on it! DUH!!!
I actually had to POP it out of his nose. I am thankful that it was not an emergency room visit!
This blog entry has been brought to you by the letter E.

My oldest shoved a bandaid tab up her nose this spring. The trio was still in the NICU and my DH called me freaking out. So that night all my kids were in the hospital. She had to go to the ER and while we were waiting for the Dr to come in, all of a sudden she could breathe again. I asked her where the tab went...her reply was "it went to heaven" are you kidding me I just payed the $75 copay for a bandaid tab to go to heaven??? I guess when she saw the Dr coming she freaked out took a deep breath and swallowed it! arrrgh I was mad!
