Easy

Peanut and Roo were born less than 1 year apart, which makes them irish twins. They are the very very very best of friends. So far I have not had to deal with sibling rivalry, or jealousy. My kids are never bored, and they always have a "playdate". People always ask how I handle it, and honestly....I don't have anything to handle. Aside from preschool transportation, lunch, and naptime....they entertain each other!

It's neat to see that the triplets already have this bond that Peanut and Roo have. It's been more noticeable in the last weeks. They have such distinct personalities, and they are undeniably close. The girls make each other laugh, and cry....lol. Pumpkin is usually being sat on by Miss Bubbles, and LMSunshine is normally chatting up a storm. She is usually talking to Miss Bubbles, who is too busy tackling her brother to notice. They are already entertaining each other, and while there are many times that I need to intervene, they are the most happy when they are together.....just as their big brother and sister are.

Right now in the midst of diapers, feedings, and a scheduled life in general, it's easy to miss the big picture. The big picture becomes more and more clear every day.... My life is blessed, and my children are lucky. They will never want for someone to play with, to share life with. Even as they grow, all 5 of them have a bond with another sibling that will be strong and will survive for life.

Mothers of multiples are often praised as "supermoms", but for me...I disagree. I think I have it pretty easy. Life is good, and I am basking in the love of my family. :)

My dad came out today to shoot some candid pictures of my kids with me. I shot with a Nikon D70, and dad shot with a D300. His pictures are not edited yet, but mine are so I wanted to share a few. I took individual pictures. Dad has a group shot, and more candid shots. I wanted them to be in black and white, since I have a *thing* for black and white. Here are my photo's....I will upload dad's when they are available. :)

Booty Tales

When I picked up Miss Peanut from preschool her teacher, Miss M, smirked and told me to look at Miss Peanut's pictures when I got home. Among the drawings of 1's, 2's, 3's and A, B, C's I see this....

(Miss M wrote the "1 booty" caption) My daughter was asked to draw a body part that she only had ONE of. Most kids drew a nose, a mouth....not my kid. ::sigh:: What's worse is that when Miss M asked them to draw a body part that they had 2 of Miss Peanut proceeded to draw another "booty". Miss M told her that she only had one of those, and Miss Peanut turned around and in sassy fashion told her, "No Miss M, I have one here, and one here!" pointing to each cheek. Yea...... That's my kid! We had a talk that night that "Booties" are not the nicest things to draw. LOL.

My Flabby Friday:

Why did I start this???? One reason. I love my kids. Not only to I want to be healthy for them, but I want to do ONE thing this summer..... I want to swim with my kids.

I am not completely crazy. I am not perfectly put together. I have bent legs (knocked knees), and even when I weighed 100 pounds I had big thighs. I am white as a ghost, and no amount of sun will change that....these are the things I CAN'T change. I may be embarrassed to get into a swimsuit with pasty white skin, but I will. I will because I have super white skin....it's the way God made me.

He did not make me overweight. I made me overweight.

I can change my weight. I have a lot to lose. You all will inspire me, and I will inspire you. I will do my best to comment to each and everyone of you, and I can't wait to start this journey with all of you!!!!!!

The Amazing Miss Bubbles!

Ladies, and Gentlemen.....Miss Bubbles is now pulling up to a stand! She's been doing this for a few days now. I can guarantee that within 4-5 weeks I will have my first walker. Yup, she's only 8 months old. LMSunshine is still not crawling well, and Mr. Pumpkin can crawl pretty well, but he refuses to use his legs. I can't believe how crazy this little girl is! Continue to pray that Miss Bubbles has an uneventful ultrasound on Thursday, and that she will not need surgery for her little tummy.
